Go to USEFUL LINKS in the left hand column and check the latest applications for liquor licences in your area… Unfortunately the Media seem to give coverage and reward drunken behaviour as being “funny”. They too have a role to play in changing the ugly side of our “booze culture”….And yes, what of Home Delivery of packaged alcohol? Underage consumption will take place when there is no checking of who orders and who takes delivery….yes, we do seem to have missed the mark as described in this article… We thirsted for European class, but got a hangover Heroes and booze: the unhealthy mix at the core of our culture

Hi , if there are any objectors to the extension of licquor licencing hours applied for by 1000 Pound Bend at 361 Little Lonsdale ST could they lodge their objection by Jan 26. David
Hi David – Thanks for this – we have been to many a Panel Hearing haven’t we? I shall walk past today and see what hours they are applying for. So far we haven’t heard any complaints from the neighbours about rowdy street behaviour. Of course “La La Land”just around the corner burnt down unfairly taking a couple of other businesses with it. The neighbours standing by the morning after made comments like “natural justice..”. La La Land was never monitored by City of Melbourne and did whatsoever they liked. The neighbours were sick of the loud banging music emanating from the windows LLL had knocked out in contravention of planning regulations.But I digress….
